So I went to see Tyler at Newport Mall on Friday- omg it was so amazing lol sorry if this is long!

Well first let me say, I was working on 2 hours of sleep. I woke up at 5am to go to Good Morning America to see Jessica Simpson. It was really crowded. She sang 2 songs, she did really well and she looked really cute hehe

So then it was Tyler Time!! I got to the mall around 12ish, thinking it was going to be crowded, and I wanted to make sure I got a wristband to meet him. Turns out there were only like 5 other people waiting for him lol So i was in for a long day! It was part of the DTour, so a bunch of little booths were set up, and those opened up at 3. For the most part it was a lot of waiting around. A small crowd built up, but not many were Tyler fans. I ended up winning VIP passes, which let me get closer to the stage and I got to be one of the first to meet him.

So at 5:30 he came out for a Q & A. i got to ask him a question. I asked what his fave song to perform live is and he said "Pink and Black" and also "Rollin' Home" when he's with a full band. And that he also likes performing new stuff and that his new cd should come out in September! lol Someone also asked Boxers or Briefs. And he said boxer briefs lol "cuz boxers to fit into these pants". It was cute.
He came back out at 7:30 to perform. It was truly amazing, and SO intimate. He sang Pink & Black, Letter Song, his cover song medley, new song Downtown, Glad, When It Comes, and That's How Love Should Be. And then right after he went to do the meet & greet. He seemed a little out of it, people were trying to rush him cuz he only had an hour, but there were only like 50 people waiting lol But it was cool he signed my cd and i got a quick pic with him! So it was really fun.

One Tree Hill Tour (3.31.05)

The one Tree Hill concert on march 31st 2005 at the Quest Club in Minneapolis MN featured Bethany Joy Lenz and Tyler Hilton of OTH along with The Wrekers(Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp). The concert was very good but I left early after seeing Tyler perform because I was getting tired of standing. Both Bethany and Tyler performed there own material and even did there duet together that they made popular on the show called "When The Stars Go Blue". From what I saw of it, it was very good. Tyler rocked out on his acoustic guitar and Bethany played the piano. It was a concert that I was glad I went to but I would of enjoyed it much more if were able to see better.

One Tree Hill Tour (3/23/05)

I was so excited for this show! The night started out rough. I got there and had to wait outside in the pouring rain. And when I got inside, they were giving out wristbands to meet everyone after the show. I managed to get my way to the table, and just as I was getting ready to buy some cds, they ran out of wristbands. I was really dissapointed. And people were saying no more bethany cd's! And then i was just about ready to cry. Cuz I was really looking forward to buying Bethany Joy Lenz's cd, cuz I love her and u can't get her cd anywhere. So I asked the lady, "You have no more Bethany cd's?" And she was like no we do, just no wristbands. So I bought her cd, which made me happy, and I bought a Tyler Hilton t-shirt. So after that I went inside and got a spot. Then Mark Schwam, the creator of the show, came out and introduced a special guest, BRYAN GREENBURG, who plays Jake on the show. I had been following up on the tour, and read that Bryan showed up at random stops, and i was extremely excited that he showed up to mine. He performed some songs, and he was really good! And then Mark came back out to introduce our MC of the night, who would be a cast member of the show. And it turns out our MC was....the one and only chad michael murray! Of course everyone, including myself, flipped out! Then they introduced Bethany Joy Lenz. That girl can sing, and she plays guitar and piano. She was amazing. She opened with "Songs In My Pocket" and sang other songs from her cd along with Movin' Out by Billy Joel. Next up was Tyler Hilton, who I was also looking forward to. He was great, sang a bunch of songs from his cd, including "How Love Should Be" which was new at the time. Chad played the bongos for him on one of the songs too. And Bethany came out and sang "When The Stars Go Blue" with him. Last up was the Wreckers, who are Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp. They sang "The Good Kind" and alot of other songs. Michelle Branch sang "All you wanted", "goodbye to you", and "are you happy now". Jessica Harp sang "Memphis" which is an amazing song, and another song of hers. I liked them a lot better than I thought I would. Though the night started out dissapointing, it was a really good show full of awesome performers!

I got there at about 3pm and there was a little bit of people so me and my sister and my friend decided to go play miniature golf and wait for tyler. Then it was about 520 and tyler was on his way and he was on the radio and girls just started screaming. They called up the people who won backstage to hang out with him so they took us back into like an area. There was only 8 people so it was really awesome. we were all eating pizza and then tyler comes and were all just sitting there eating pizza and he got a piece and he came running to me and he was like "Hey what does your shirt say" and i was like "i love tyler hilton and the back says proud to be a tyler tracker", and he goes"Your a tracker? thats so awesome!" and we started talking about stuff for like 20 minutes and i got pictures with him. I told him that im seeing him agian tomorrow and next month and he was pretty happy about that. The other people had to have their turn and me and my sister look around and see jaco all by himself and me and my sister went up to him and we were talking to him for only like 5 minutes because he had to go and we got a picture with him as well. So tyler left me a answering machine thing on my phone, so now when people call hes on it. The concert started at like 730 but they let the people in at like 630 and i got front row because it was first come first serve, there wasnt much people so it was cool. He finally came out and he sang all of his songs and he was talking to us. Haha. He has a hilarious story that he told us, but anyways he had a new song that he just made yesterday and he sang it to us and its called cross the line which was awesome! and he sang his coffe song. He made up a song for modesto which was really funny. It was weird because i was looking at jaco right in the eyes and he was looking at me in the eyes and i smiled at him and he smiled at me and i was like whoah. Tyler played all of his songs and he made this one remix with: mario let me love you and jojo leave get out. Haha, he started singing scrubs by tlc. Then he signed stuff for all the fans. That's pretty much my awesome day.
