Rock This Christmas Tour

The second time I got to see Jump5, was on December 11th 2005, in Harleysville PA, on their Rock This Christmas tour! Since we live about 4 or so hours away from there, we left home early in the morning. When we got into town, the first thing we did was find the Church where the concert was going to be held. So me and my dad went in, and they had some people setting up stuff, on stage, and Christmas trees, and all sorts of props, ect. Actually, they said I could stay, but we had to go to the hotel first. That was at like 3:00. So anyways, we left the hotel at like 5:15, cuz the concert was supposed to start at 7:00, and doors were gonna open at 6:00. Well, as we are driving to the Church, this big bus gets off the highway in front of us. Jump5's tour bus!!!!!! The members of Jump5 were right in front of us! I of course started screaming, and they went in back of the church to get out, and I got dropped off out front. I talked to a couple of my fellow fan club members, and they were really nice. Jump5's tour bus had broken down more than once, so they had driven straight there for hours! So everything was a little delayed, so doors ended up opening at 6:30ish, and us fan club members went in first, signed up, met Nick, somebody who must work with Jump5, and he led us to this hallway close to the backstage. I was so nervous, cuz I had never really MET them before. Anyways, I, of course, was first in line, for the meet and greet! I kept dropping my stuff, and when they came out I freaked. But they were SO nice, and I gave them their gifts, and they were like aww thank u so much!, and then they autographed a few things for me, I got a picture with them, and they said they hoped I would have a good time. And I wanted to have them sign my Best Of Jump5 cd, but forgot, but Chris saw me, and motioned for me to go over, and they signed that too. Talk about sweet! They are the nicest four people ever! Then I went to get a seat, and so I sat with a girl I met there, and we were in the second row! First, 12 year old Tiffany Giardina, the opening act, came and did 3 songs. She was really nice, and she was pretty good. Then Jump5 came out! During the concert, I touched all of their hands, and I was singing along, so they kept pointing, and smiling at me. :) They did these songs, in this order:

Then they went backstage, to change, and stuff, and we all went out to the autograph line. I bought posters, and a few other things, and we were first in line, cuz my sis missed half the concert, so we could be! Lol. So Brittany, Brandon, Lesley, and Chris, came out, to the autograph tables. But they didn't have sharpies!!! Lol. So we took a pic with them, and I talked to Chris for a few seconds, when everyone else was talking to their manager about something. And you were only supposed to have one thing to have them sign, but I asked Chris if it was ok, if I had a few more, and he was like sure, of course, whatever you have. I think I talked to Chris the most, and he was SO, SO, SO nice!!!!! I also said that I hoped he would have a happy birthday the next month, and he was smiling and like, thanks! Then next was Brittany, and I was telling her how much fun I had, and that this was the best day of my life, and thanking her for everything. Seriously: she was the sweetest person ever!!! And I had to move on, and I was saying merry Christmas, and she was like, aww you too! I just <3 her! Lol. Then it was Lesley; I didn't get a chance to say much to her, but I just was saying how much fun I had, and thanking her too. And she was soooooo nice too! Then it was Brandon, and he asked his famous question; did you have a good time? And I was like YES!!!! The best, this was the best day of my life! And he was like, haha, I'm so glad. And b4 I had to leave, I was like, merry Christmas and he was like, Merry Christmas to you too! :)

And that is the story of the best day of my life! :)

~ HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I went and saw Jump5 at Lynn Creek @ Joe Pool Lakes here in my own town with my friend Roselyn. When i got there we had to pay 20 bucks to get in. There were alot of bands already playing when we go there..hm let's see..Petra, Olivia, Tait, Starfield..all i don't know. haha. Jump5 wouldn't be on for a while so I spent a loong time at the merchandise table. Then I saw a crowd of people following this one man so we followed them. They were doing a private meet/greet with Jump5 that was ONLY for fan club members. lol. They didn't check so we got to sneek in. Brandon was asking all the fans if his hair was sticking up, i think he was trying out a new "do." Jump5 were all in costume..kinda..Brandon in some cowboy/Indian kinda look, Lesley in a cheerleader's outfit, Chris in an orange Tennessee jersey and Britt had on a shirt that said 'This is my costume' :D Jump5 wasn't gonna be on for another 30mins so we watched Rachael Lampa perform. She reminded me of my 9th grade W. Geo teacher Mrs. Wray. lol. Finally they announced that Jump5 would be performing. I saw them behind the stage, Chris waved. The performance was greeeeat! Once Lesley almost slipped doing a back flip. :( Oh and Nana Hargest got onstage at one point too. :D She told us "I taught them all they knew"(talking about Britt/Brandon's dancing). haha. She was showing us some moves of her own. lol. Afterwards there was another signing. I bought a Dreaming in Color shirt and got them to sign that too. 2 autos in one night! :) It rained after that so i called home and we left.

Arrived at the capitol shortly after ten and was happy to see only a dozen people in front of the stage if that, all teenage girls, a few kids *and one dad* there for Jump 5. Put the blanket down saving a few spots for mom and I. Shortly after ran into Emily and Kira that I’d met backstage with at the state fair last year. We hung out the rest of the day and stood together for the show. Shortly after 11 some girls found Brandon and started freaking out so we walked around and didn’t see any of them. Around 12 they came out and did soundcheck. I felt kind of bad, because they hardly got to practice. First their monitors/ear pieces wouldn’t work. They weren’t on very long when this guy asked if they were done yet because they needed them to get off. Brandon asked for the music to the two new songs, saying they needed to practice those. The guy didn’t have the music for them. Chris looked ticked, I don’t blame him. I bet that’s why they didn’t do the new one’s during the show too. One girl kept yelling things out to them trying to carry on a conversation with them, which annoyed the heck out of my friends and I and seemed to be getting to the band after awhile. Afterwards sat around for hours. Around 2:00 people started really showing up and soon it was packed. We could barely move from then on cos these girls were all pushing up on us trying to get our spots, but it was worth it. The music portion of the day started at 4:00 with Jump 5 hitting the stage at 5:30. I turned around and there were just tons of people watching. I believe they said 80,000 people came that day wow. They came out singing “Celebration”. I had made a sign with the help of Emily and Kira that said “Start Jump’n 4 Jump 5” which we held in front of the barricade as they came out and Brandon saw it right away pointed and smiled. We put the poster down shortly after, but Brandon kept looking over. He’d point, smile, dance, wink, it was cute. We took videos on our digital cameras and managed to get some of that on tape so that was pretty cool. I even got him during “Beauty and the Beast” doing this dance thing right to me/the camera and pointing and smiling and winking. They only had a half hour set, which kind of sucked but oh well. They sang “Celebration”, “All I Can Do”, “Spinning Around”, “Pressure”, “God Bless the USA”, “Family”, “Wonderful”, and “Do Ya”. During “Do Ya” Brandon and Chris had the crowd sing, it was cute. As usual they did a bunch of flipping around and I got some of that on video too. After the show we pushed through the crowd and went to the autograph table. By the time we made it back there the line was really long. Chris said on their website they signed over 600 autographs before they cut off the line so we must have been a good 600 people back cos we were at the end. It wasn’t bad, we were up there within an hour if that but oh man were we rushed. They kept saying they were going to have to cut off the line soon so I worried we wouldn’t make it up there but we did. Talk about rude security though. I gave Chris my cd cover and said hi and he asked if I had fun. This lady pushes me onto Brittany, picks up the photo I’d given Kira to get signed and barks “one per person”. I told her it wasn’t mine and she threw it at Kira. I didn’t have time to say anything to Brittany, looked up and Brandon was smiling at me, he said Hi and asked if I had fun. I told him we’d come at ten to see them and he was like wow and then the lady tried to push me on, but I asked for a hug. He didn’t hear so he was like what so I repeated it and the lady tried to tell him/me not to but he ignored her and said “of course” and stood up and hugged me. Well the lady was still pushing on me until like right before or when he hugged me, how rude. I said thanks and was pushed onto Lesley as I heard Brandon say thanks for coming. Didn’t get a chance to say anything to Lesley and got out of the tent and was barked at by another guard to get back on the sidewalk *as mom was still picking up our stuff off the ground* So yeah wasn’t too happy with those guards. But after that a nice guard heard I wanted pictures and told me to stand in front of him. Then they cut off the line so I was able to snap pics while they were getting ready to leave. They walked past the crowd shaking hands and I got Brandon and Chris’s so that was cool. Then I left to go home. All in all it was a great day, can’t wait till they come back. Hopefully it won’t be so crazy next time though.

A VERY SHORT summary about my trip to see J5:

Me, my friend: JT and my mom set off to the concert [leaving our house] around 11:00 am. It took about an hour drive and JT and I got bored REALLY FAST! But for me-I was bored, but really excited because that would be my first Jump5 concert. When we got there we bought souvenirs. I got a t-shirt and a 24x60 door poster and JT got some buttons because her dad only gave her $5 L. Anyways there wasn’t A LOT of people there when we got to the lobby-if you know what I’m saying. We could go to our seats (7th row-yeah!) and we were soooo close compared from the people in the very back. It was about 15 minutes I think and then the lights dimmed and everyone screamed! I was really nervous and so they came out and sang their totally rockin’ songs! And they sang from all of their albums and the order was the second, then parts of the third, the Christmas one, and I think some of their self-titled cd. I loved it all and had a blast! But that wasn’t all-they had a meet ‘n greet and so I couldn’t decide to get my t-shirt signed or this $2 small poster signed. I decided to get my $2 poster signed and have my mom to get my t-shirt signed because they only said 1 autograph per person and it meant one autograph of the group per person. We were almost the LAST people there. So we waited and waited and waited finally the line moved and it brightened my face up and it was only a baby step. So a lady in a wheel chair came through and we followed her but…okay-so we did cut but we uh-wanted to make sure that the lady in the wheel chair wouldn’t get hurt-uh yeah that’s it…So we got to the table I was scared and they were SOOOOO nice and I’m jealous because we waited for my mom and she was at the end and JT said to me, “Oh my God-oh my God! Brandon just waved to me!” I couldn’t believe it. We both like Brandon but I think Chris and Brandon are soooo hot. And JT got a compliment on her “Limited 2” shirt that says “Punk”. I am definitely jealous. My mom said to Chris, “I have a son at home who’s name is Chris” and man-Chris (Fedun) is soooo hot. My mom got my t-shirt autographed and JT got a small poster signed and I got a small poster signed and I wanted to stay and stare at Chris and Brandon all day but we had to go home. That was the best day of my life.

I LOVE JUMP5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
