My dad, my friend Katie and I got to the venue that afternoon. It was already very crowded, and I was glad we had gotten tickets way ahead of time. It was an outdoor concert, and gates kept us from getting near the stage, until show time. Some radio stations, and magazines had booths, and games happening, as well as food. A few hours before the concert was going to start, the band started to do sound check. I got excited, thinking Jesse was there-he wasn't. Yet two minutes later it was clear he had come out, when every girl there started screaming. Even doing just sound check, he sounded amazing. After getting to our seats (6th row.Yay!) we met some other cool Jesse fans, and talked for a little bit. Then Jesse's opening act came out-a really cool guy, who had won a local contest. He sounded really good!!! Then, JESSE came out! He really knows how to work the crowd-it was so energetic, the vibe was amazing. Jesse did a bunch of songs of his debut CD, and since this was before "Right Where You Want Me" came out, it was cool to hear new songs, as well. Finishing off with "Beautiful Soul" Jesse left the stage-to surprise us and come back with "Blow Your Mind" a really amazing upbeat song!!! It just goes to show how dedicated some of his fans are- after Jesse left for good, a girl jumped into the mote, that seperated the stage from the crowd, trying to swim to him!!! *No one was hurt, thankfully* =) Seeing Jesse in concert, is an experiece you do NOT want to miss-be sure to catch him on his next tour!!!

I got signed out of school at 2:45 an hour before dismisal, but I didn't care. We were in the road at 3:00. We arrived to Hidalgo at 6:00. My dad and I headed to the will call to request our stuff. First they gave me my M&G's and then they gave my dad the tickets, but no they only gave us one ticket. Supposely they had to give us two, but no. Instead of the other ticket on the envelope was this special pass. I had access to take pictures for the first three songs. To make this story short. My dad had to buy a ticket and yeah it was way off mine, but better for me, because I enjoyed the show more lol. Before the doors opened I saw this little girl with her mom and they kept staring at my lanyard and my wristband; they asked me how I got that and I explained; my heart broke so I gave the other wristband to the little girl.... my dad told me to sell it to them, but nah it would had been my sisters so yeah why not and then it was a little girl so yeah. The doors opened at 6:30; I went directly to the merchendice section. I bought the get your shine on shirt, a key chain, and a glowstick; at the end I bought the she's no me shirt with the dates on the back. After that I went directly to the meet and greet line; I was the tenth person in line and alot in back of me. When we entered the room we made a line through the whole room. Wow when Jesse came out everyone started to scream and some girls even cried... I was just in shocked; I didn't do anything I was just speechless. When I saw him there the first thing that came to mind was Summerland; don't know, but I just remembered the first episodes; like a flashback lol. before I knew it; it was my time to meet Jesse....wow he introduced himself asked me how I was doing and I responded, my name and nice to meet you, picture, and then I asked for a hug! haha yes I asked for it. Nobody before me asked for one but I did and it was the best! haha. so yeah he huged me and then I was already leaving when Jesse and the guy taking the pic called me back, because I had left my pic there lmao. So I went inside the arena all happy with my pic and then I only heard Nikki sing the last part of one of her songs. Later Hope came and she did awesome. People were got so annoyed whenver she said that she was singing another song... yeah meanies. Ok so Hope finished her set and then a lady next to me had a camera and the security took it away from her.... I didn't want my camera taken away,but I had a special pass, but I didn't know who to use it so I asked the manager there and he explained me. Wow, I actually went infront of the front roll people lol. yeah I got behind the rail thing they put so no one can touch the stage. I was with the newspaper people... so yeah everyone was envying me. Jesse came out and wow I was just inches away from him.... I took several pics but they didn't turn out so well since he moved a lot. After Because you live; I went back to my seat 6th roll! and enjoyed the rest of the show. Not everyone around me knew all the songs; I was the only one who sang all of them and definatly when The Best Day of My Life came out, no one knew it so they just screamed. Oh, and when She's no you came out and I don't remember what part it was; I made this little dance thingy with my hands and shoulders; and Jesse did the same thing and then smiled.... lol and all the girls in back of me were like "omg, he responded to you" or something between that lol. For Take Your Sweet Time he choosed this girl that was three rows inback of me. Everyone went crazy when he said that he was bringing a girl up; I was just pointing at myself and like that not that exagerate like the others; I felt like he did look at me, but ha ignored me lol. Anyways the concert was great and those hot moves lol.

I forgot to say that everyone was asking me who I got the meet and greets and that if I knew him and where was he staying and stuff like that. lol I talked to so many people and I promised to send them some of the pics that I took... that didn't come out that good lol.

anyways that's it and sorry for it being to long, but I had to give some details and if you read it all thank you.

On August 20th, my cousin and I got to Springfield, at around 9 AM, after 5 hours of driving. When we got there, there were about 15 other people in front of us, most of them were Simple Plan fans though (it was a joint concert with Jesse and Simple Plan). So after waiting until 5:45 they let us all stand by the gates. They let us RUN!!!! in at 6:30. We had to run, because we were actually in a mosh pit. For those of you who don't know what a mosh pit is, it's where you run in to get good seats. Because SO many people ran in front of us, we only had 2nd row, but it was still amazing. After being in the hot air shoulder to shoulder with like at LEAST 2,000 other people, they turned the lights off, but that was after like 20 people fainted. 6 people got concussions, it was bad. Around 7:30 the concert started, and people were going CRAZY!!! It was really amazing. Of course, Jesse didn't reach into the crowd, he had a little trouble with that at one of the radio shows (someone grabbed his crotch REALLY hard). So yeah, he put his hand in the crowd once, but no one could reach him, I think that was the point. So after performing for almost an hour and a half, he left, and then came back like 3 min later and was like "Did you guys really think I would leave like that?!" and then Karen (drummer) started doing a beat, and Dory (lead guitar...I<33 HIM!!!!!!!), and it was Get Your Shine On, so Jesse sang it, and then after he did like a 5 min long dance, I recorded it on my camera. It's really hot, he like humps the mike, and then does like a cowboy thing. During his preformance the Simple Plan fans were REALLY rude!! Like I cannot emphasize how rude they were. They kept going "SIMPLE PLAN!! SIMPLE PLAN!!" while Jesse was singing. I felt horrible for him. During Simple Plan, me and my cousin left, well we stayed for like 5 songs. We found out where Jesse's tour bus was, so we went there, but there were guards, but Dory waved to us! It was amazing! Then we found out Jesse was already in the bus, so we started SCREAMING!! Then the bus started driving away, so we were RUNNING after it for like 2 miles, and then we saw Jesse (he was sitting up front) AND HE WAVED TO US AND DID THE ROCK ON SIGN!!! TO US!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!! Then the comps got mad at us, and he was about to pull out his shock gun, so we stopped, but it was still amazing.

This concert kicked boo-tay! Front row to top it off but he performed almost all of the tracks off his album and I enjoyed every minute of it. Wish I was able to meet him afterwards but I got a pic with his band mate Doray so that was cool. Overrall good performance but lack of personality.

so i got up at about 8:30 i think. i got dressed and i was almost all ready and my mom was like "do i have to stay there with you" cuz i got her a ticket along with 2 of my other friends. and im like "no but i thought you wouldnt want to come pick be up cuz i dont know how long it is" so shes like "just call me when its over and you can bring another friend with. so i call gabby my friend who likes jesse and wanted to go but i didn thave a ticket for her. so she was up and she came over at like a quarter to 10 and then we left right away. it was last minute but she had a great time. we got there at like 10:30ish i think and there was already a long line through out the whole place!! we got in line and it didnt start moving til like an hour and a half later or something but it was fine. we had fun talking in line and seeing all the crazy jesse fans out there. all these fans had shirts with jesse on it a mega huge posters. lol such teenies. so then we got in there and it was general admission so we were pretty far back. but it was great!~! we had a great time, but he only played like 4 songs. it felt like 10 minutes long which it probably was. haha then we walkedaround a little cuz there were all these babyish rides cuz it was KIDSfest lol. then we called my mom and she picked us up. yeah thats about it.
