When will you be doing an extensive tour in the US again?

Hopefully in the new year.....we are releasing the television show and album in
Canada first....as the plans are looking right now....But we would love to
get down there and work at getting out to play some music and see you all...really soon.

Do you guys always like the same songs that you perform?

Yes...for sure....we wouldn't perform songs if we didn't feel really passionate about what we were singing.

Amanda, what's going on with your album? Should we *in the US* be expecting it by the new year?

I don't think so....It is really taking it's wings here thanks to Universal Canada.....but I have parted ways with Universal South for various reasons.....so the new year with be packed with promotion of the show and the album....and I will be writing for a new Amanda record for release hopefully towards the end of next year we'll see! I will keep u posted though.

Tell us about the new Wilkinsons album. What can we expect, compared to previous albums?

We have definately gone back to the approach of the first album....its incredible the songs that we have chosen....and with out letting the cat outta the bag there are some surprises on the there in the way of a unexpected cover song.

Years ago you opened up for Bryan White. What was it like doing a co-fan club party this year with him?

We did a bunch of shows with Bryan the first couple years of touring....we have such a great friendship....and have a great respect for one another....he is also one of the nicest people on the planet.

Do you ever feel pressured in the business to look and act a particular way?

There is always pressure.....But I think you feel more confident as you learn about the industry to stick to your guns and don't comprimise who you are......I think this year especially people will get a greater understanding of us as a family.

Since you have already had so much success with 26cents and have had hit after hit...is there any pressure to write the 'perfect song' for radio?

I think you shoot yourself in the foot if you are chasing after radio....cause they can be a very indecisive beast at times.....Just record songs and kill you and you feel passionate about.

What is your favourite part of your singing career....the writing, the recording or the touring/shows?

I don't think you can't really pick a favourite....they are all different experiences.......But touring is such a thrill.

What would you like to say to Pop Blitz and your fans reading this?

Thank you so much for your continuous support and love....it's been such a ride.

Special thanks to Steve, Amanda, and Tyler for taking the time out to answer our questions. Hope to see you guys soon! Also, thanks to Sharon for setting us up with the interview. Thanks to the following people for submitting questions:Ashley and Kathy.
