Tracey: Hey, I’m Tracey.
Donna: And I’m Donna.
Michelle: I’m Michelle.
Tracey: We are here at Club 3 Degrees with Pop/Christian Band Jump 5. How’s it going guys?
Brittany: Good.
Chris & Brandon: Yeah.
Lesley: It’s going great.
Tracey: Do you want to quick introduce yourselves?
Brittany: Sure, I’m Brittany!
Brandon: I’m Brandon.
Lesley: I’m Lesley.
Chris: I’m Chris.
Brandon: And we’re Jump 5.
Tracey: What’s your favorite thing about Minnesota?
Brittany: We were just talking about that, because we love walking downtown, in the cities, it’s clean.
Lesley: It’s so clean.
Chris: It was very interesting, because it was very clean, I like that.
Brandon: Didn’t smell bad.
Chris: Nope.
Brittany: No trash on the ground.
Chris: It was great.
Brittany: And we love Club 3 Degrees of course.
Chris: This is like our 3rd time here, surprisingly.
Brandon: Yeah.
Tracey: And you’re coming here when it’s warm for a change, it’s not freezing cold and everyone freezing their butts off.
All: Yeah!
Chris: That’s what we were saying. We were walking downtown this morning and it wasn’t that cold.
Brandon: Yeah, I brought a jacket, cause I wasn’t sure since it is Minnesota but we didn’t so.
Tracey: No, and it was like 40 or 50 the other day so you lucked out.
Brandon: Wow, I guess we did.
Lesley: Yeah, right.
Brittany: We’re used to the cold weather.
Tracey: Who is your favorite Christian Artist?
Brittany: Um, I would probably say “Krystal Meyers” because she is such a fun girl to hang out with. Music wise probably “Bethany Dillion” or…
Chris: MuteMath
Brittany: Ahh, MuteMath, I love MuteMan.
Brandon: They’re pretty cool.
Brittany: Anybody else?
Lesley: I would say, we toured with “Kimberly Perry” and she was a lot of fun. She’s really great.
Chris: Music wise, I guess I’d say “Switchfoot”. I just love their music.
Tracey: What are the top 3 songs on your IPod playlist?
Lesley: I don’t think I have a top 3 songs, I hit random where it just plays through all the songs on my Ipod.
Brandon: My Ipod just broke so I can’t.
Brittany: This morning. It broke this morning.
Brandon: It broke this morning. I was like “uhh” I couldn’t hear anything this afternoon, we were walking. Like anything from “Cold Play”, “Ben Folds”, “Kean” so that’s mine.
Brittany: Anything from Imogene Heap.
Brandon: Yeah, I was going to say yeah. *laughs*
Brittany: Stars or Mutemath, anything from them.
Lesley: I like country music stuff, none of those people. *laughs*
Chris: Mine is like “Gavin Degraw”, “Marc Broussard,” a little bit of country.
Tracey: Do you guys like “The Wilkinsons” at all?
Brandon: Haven’t heard of them.
Tracey: They sing like “26 Cents”.
Lesley: I’ve heard of them, but I don’t really know their music.
Tracey: Them and Bryan White, Bryan White for country, we interviewed him the other day.
Lesley: Oh yeah?
Brandon: Cool.
Tracey: Yeah.
Donna: Josh Turner, I met him.
Lesley: Josh Turner? I like Josh Turner. His wife is gorgeous. I like his wife.
Brittany: She’s like “his wife is gorgeous”.
Lesley: She is!
Brittany: You would say that.
Lesley: She is gorgeous.
*Brandon laughs*
Lesley: Hey you! Okay sorry.
Tracey: Where do you see the future of your music going?
Chris: That’s what we’ve been working on for the past 4 months that we’ve been on break. It’s just really fun to get in. We’ve been writing a lot. It’s really fun to get in and see what’s coming out. Tonight at Club 3 Degrees, we have some new songs we’re going to sing so. The first song we wrote was kind of more like an Urban thing, it was really fun to do. I don’t know if the rest will go that way, but it’s fun to try it.
Brittany: We’re still trying to find ourselves.
Brandon: Yeah.
Brittany: Our new selves.
Brandon: Yeah *laughs*.
