Jessica Mellott is a bubbly, blonde, 16 year old pop/rock singer from Frederick, Maryland. From the time she began her vocal instruction at age 5, this dynamic singer knew that entertaining was her passion. She started with classical training, moved into musical theater, and found her niche in pop, though she loves to sing all kinds of music. In 2005, she earned a certificate from Stagedoor Manor, a well-known performance camp in New York. Jessica has performed in many musicals and has won numerous vocal competitions. She is a current nominee for the Maryland Distinguished Scholar Awards for both vocals and academics.

Jessicas song, Remember Me, has been ..1 at the Industry Resource for months, where she is highlighted in The Buzz as a rising star. Her music is featured on KSPAZ Radio, and showcased on many websites. Her songs have won many awards, including Best Female Vocals, Best Dance Track, and Best Lyrics. Some of Jessicas songs are featured in Ferrari Club DVDs and in an upcoming audio CD magazine. On myspace.com, Jessica received so many song plays in such a short amount of time that she was selected to be a featured artist in the upcoming book by John Pospisil, Hacking MySpace: Mods and Customizations to Make MySpace Your Space, c. 2006 Wiley Publishing.

The talented teen is busy with a number of music projects. She is working with several collaborators, including Bryant McGill, author of the internationally award-winning, McGill Dictionary of Rhyme.

Jessica uses her vocal talents to help the community as often as she can. These performances have ranged from singing annually at the Finest and the Bravest Charity Ice Hockey Tournament to raise money for victims of 9/11, to performances in local shows that have helped to raise thousands of dollars for the public school system.
